Payment Methods

Payment for orders which include any furniture, mattresses, bathroom items & vanity sets and office furniture sold on the BEDS.sg website can be made via cash/cheque upon delivery/self-collection, or online with a credit/debit card via a third-party website. Payment for orders which do not include the aforementioned can only be made via online credit card payment

 

Free Delivery

Free delivery is applicable to the following two combinations of orders that occur in a single invoice, to a single address in one trip:

1. Containing at least S$150 worth of items (excluding wardrobes, bedroom sets, pool tables, foosball tables, hoods & hobs, washers, dryers, refrigerators, televisions) and/or
2. Containing only wardrobes, bedroom sets, pool tables, foosball tables or hoods & hobs.

Purchases that do not include at least S$150 worth of items (excluding wardrobes, bedroom sets, pool tables, foosball tables, hoods & hobs, washers, dryers, refrigerators, televisions), or any furniture, mattresses, bathroom items & vanity sets, wine chillers, water dispensers and office furniture, will be subject to a S$7.90 delivery surcharge.

Purchases that contain any furniture, mattresses, bathroom items & vanity sets, wine chillers, water dispensers and office furniture (per delivery address and trip requested), will be subjected to an S$16.90 delivery surcharge if the total cost of the above-mentioned items amounts to less than S$150.

Purchases that contain washers, dryers, refrigerators and/or television sets will be subject to a S$30 delivery surcharge.

In the event that a single order has to be split into various delivery dates/locations/timings due to special requests and/or selection of delivery dates within the stated delivery lead-time period, all additional logistics charges will apply according to the above-stated guidelines, with each timing per location considered as an individual order.

In the event that multiple delivery charges (as mentioned above) have to be levied, the highest delivery charge will prevail.

There are no installation charges, unless otherwise stated.

Free delivery is only applicable within Singapore mainland between 10am-6pm from Mondays to Saturdays, excluding public holidays. Surcharges of S$30 and S$50 are applicable for delivery to Sentosa Island and Jurong Island respectively. Additional delivery surcharge of $30 is also applicable when you choose a delivery timeslot that occurs after 7pm.

In the event that the goods cannot be delivered on your preferred delivery date and/or timeslot due to reasons such as lack of stock from suppliers or scheduling difficulties, you will be notified the soonest possible. Beds.sg reserves the right to amend the delivery timings or to substitute the item model for a similar product of higher or equal value should such circumstances arise.

To qualify for free delivery, your delivery location must be accessible via elevator (i.e. on the same storey as lift landing) or must be on the same floor as the goods loading/unloading area. If the delivery crew is unable to send furniture to your location via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into elevator, elevator unservicable upon delivery crew's arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management etc) we will assess (at our own discretion) the feasability of the furniture being carried up via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner. If the process is deemed hazardous, (e.g furniture or infrastructure prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway), In the event that delivery is deemed unfeasible, Beds.sg reserves the right to cancel the delivery. Upon cancellation, a refund of any of your prior payments for that delivery will be made by cheque within two weeks from the initial delivery date.

Should delivery via staircase be deemed necessary and safe, additional charges will be as follows: First three (3) storeys free of charge + $5 per subsequent storey (i.e. staircase delivery to the 5th non-lift accessible storey will cost $10 [3 X $0 + 2 X $5 = $10]. To keep to the day's delivery schedule, Beds.sg also reserves the right to reschedule an alternative delivery date and/or time should the initial timing of delivery be unfeasible for a staircase delivery.

 

Delivery Dates and Timing

The delivery time frame that you select online is only tentative. We request for your preference in delivery time frame to plan the delivery route, so the goods can be delivered at your convenience as a value-added service. You'll be informed of the estimated delivery time frame the day before the scheduled delivery if we are unable to keep to your preferred time frame. If you don't receive any phonecalls from us, it means that the delivery is scheduled to happen within your preferred time frame.

You'll be contacted again an hour before delivery by the delivery team to confirm your presence at the delivery location and to notify you of our impending arrival. While the delivery team will try its utmost to deliver within the selected time frame, there are many external factors which can cause delays. Furniture is large and heavy and the delivery team may face difficulties in moving goods up narrow stairways.Traffic, vehicle and weather conditions will also affect the delivery time, as we want you to receive your order in the best condition possible. Customers who are not present upon our arrival also cause delays that can stretch for hours and hold up all the following deliveries.

Like all other orders, 'Next Day Deliveries' are purely tentative and subject to confirmation on planning the delivery schedule. If the delivery schedule is full for the next day, you will not be able to select it as the date of delivery. 'Next Day Delivery' is only stated because we carry stock for that particular piece.

We earnestly urge all to be present during the stipulated delivery time to be considerate to all other customers and seek your understanding when it comes to delivery timings.

Beds.sg reserves the right to change the delivery date and time should any unforeseen circumstances arise in the midst of delivery.

 

Free Disposal Of Old Mattress

Free disposal of your old mattress is available with the purchase of any mattress. This service is available if you have selected the option on the online order form. The delivery team will not be able to dispose off the old mattress due to scheduling constraints if prior arrangements have not been made. We do not dispose of other forms of furniture, as we do not have the resources to break down and dispose of old furniture in authorised locations as specified by local authorities. Beds.sg advises you to contact your town council for free furniture disposal service (HDB or landed estates), or your condominium/office building's building management. BEDS.sg reserves the right to refuse disposal of any old mattresses at its full discretion.

 

Delivery Of Multiple Items

Most of our products are delivered directly from the manufacturers' factories, to reduce overheads so we can pass on these cash savings to you with lower prices. If you've ordered more than one item, you may receive the items separately, and at different delivery times, though in most cases, we'll arrange for all the items to be delivered in one truck. Should the items be delivered separately, you'll be informed in advance.

 

Clearance Items/1 SET OFFER

There will be strictly no returns, refunds, exchanges or warranties for items which are under clearance or '1 SET OFFER', unless otherwise stated. The product descriptions of clearance items and '1 SET OFFER's clearly state their defects (if any). A compulsory, non-refundable delivery charge of S$30 is applicable should you reject or cancel the order of a clearance item or '1 SET OFFER' upon delivery.

 

Changing of Delivery Dates

Changes in delivery date should be made via email to orders@beds.sg at least 48hours before stipulated delivery timing. Please provide your order invoice number, which can be found in the confirmation email sent to you.

 

Changing of Items

Any changes to items in the order should be done via email to orders@beds.sg at least 48hours before delivery. Please provide your order invoice number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you. Orders of customised items cannot be changed once they are confirmed.

 

Order Cancellation

Cancellation of order should be done via email to orders@beds.sg at least 48hours before delivery. Please provide your order invoice number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you. Cancellation is not allowed for customised items after confirmation of order.

 

Damage Policy

We advise our customers to inspect the furniture carefully for damages before making payment. Though rare, there is a possibility of manufacturing defects or even furniture being damaged during transportation. Should you detect any damage or defect e.g knocks, dent or cracks, inform us immediately at 67899927 or email to orders@beds.sg. You have the right to reject the merchandise upon delivery at no cost or schedule for an exchange (does not apply to clearance items).

Minor scratches and dents are considered touch-up issues. In such rare cases, the merchandise will be touched up, repaired or replaced.

You also have the right to reject the merchandise immediately if the piece delivered is different from that depicted in the product description or picture you saw online.

 

Return Policy

We accept returns for all non-customised, non-clearance items. Simply bring the merchandise back to us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Merchandise should be unused, undamaged, in a resellable condition and with original packaging/ plastic cover fully intact. Beds.sg has the full discretion to decide whether the furniture is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.

If you are unable to bring back the merchandise due size or inconvenience, transportation can be arranged to bring the item(s) back to our warehouse for reinventory. Restocking Fees are at $50 per item, excluding bedroom sets and wardrobes. If you wish to have us transport your bedroom sets or wardrobes back to our warehouse, the Restocking Fee will be $100 per item.

Exchange Policy

Merchandise can be exchanged for products which are of the same or greater price value within 7 days of purchase. Merchandise for exchange should be strictly unused, no damage, in resellable condition and with original packaging/ plastic cover intact to be eligible for exchange. A restocking fee of S$30 will be imposed. Should the customer choose to exchange the existing merchandise for a piece of a higher price, he is to top-up the difference in price.

Beds.sg has the full discretion to decide whether the furniture is in a condition suitable for exchange and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for exchange. Clearance and customised items are non-exchangeable.

Refund Policy

Merchandise can be brought back to the BEDS.sg Warehouse from 9am-6pm from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays) together with proof of purchase for a full cheque refund (for cash/cheque on delivery purchases) within seven (7) days of purchase. Beds.sg has the full discretion to decide whether the furniture is suitable for refund and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for refund.

Should transportation be required, the restocking charges as spelt out under the Return Policy will apply. The cheque for the refunded items will be presented to the customer at the item pick-up location only if transportation services have been ordered by the customer from BEDS.sg and the relevant restocking fees paid for by the customer, or at the BEDS.sg Warehouse when the item is brought back for a refund. Customers will have to sign some documents in receipt of the cheque refund.

All refunds for orders paid for via cash/cheque on delivery can be collected in the form of a cheque from the BEDS.sg office. Customers have to be present personally to receive and sign for the refund cheques with photo identification. There will be strictly no mailing out of refund cheques.

Should the customer be unable to be present for the refund collection, a representative may be sent with a letter of authorisation containing the representative's full name and I/C number and signed by the customer. The representative's I/C and customer's I/C have to be presented for verification purposes.

Should you have made the initial payment through online credit card payment, you should return the products for refund via the above-mentioned return methods, and allow 5-7 working days for the refund amount to be credited to your account.

If you have made the initial payment through your PayPal account, you should return the products for refund via the above-mentioned return methods. The amount will be credited back to your PayPal account within 1 working day after receipt of the returned product.

Clearance and customised items are strictly non-refundable.

Lowest Price Matching

To ensure that our customers always get the best deals, BEDS.sg promises to match the lowest available, legitimate price any customer can find for a particular product in rival retail stores.

We will match the price of the product a customer intends to purchase/has purchased within the past 14 days of price matching request, based on the following conditions:

- the product which the customer is requesting a price match is exactly identical to that found on a rival retailers' storefront

- product model numbers (if any) are exactly identical

- both our product and the rival retailer's product have exactly the same specifications

- sufficient evidence is provided by the customer to suggest that the same product can indeed be purchased from the rival retailer at the point of time of request (BEDS.sg reserves the right to determine the sufficiency of evidence provided)

- the price is set by a rival storefront that is located on mainland Singapore

- the rival price includes all the necessary taxes as dictated by Singapore Law

The process of requesting for a price match must be as follows:

- BEDS.sg recieves an email (sent to cs@beds.sg) from the customer at the point of purchase/within 14 days from point of purchase providing evidence of such a disparity in pricing (through use of original advertisments, official paper quotations or active web links to e-commerce sites)

- Customer states explicit interest in purchasing product/has already purchased product from BEDS.sg

- If customer has already purchased product, he should provide sufficient evidence to identify himself as either the person who placed the order, the person billed for purchase and/or the person who was the intended recipient of the purchased product

BEDS.sg may investigate the request by means of calling up the rival retailer and/or visiting the storefront in question and reserves the right to full discretion on deciding the legitimacy of the request. BEDS.sg also reserves the right to reject any request at its full discretion.

Upon confirming the legitimacy of Lowest Price Matching request, BEDS.sg will do the following:

- Sell the product to the customer at the competitor's price

- Amend the listed price of the product to match the competitor's price

- If product has been purchased within 14 days prior to the request, BEDS.sg will refund the full difference between the two prices to the customer who was billed for the original product

The Lowest Price Matching is only applicable to products found on this website (excluding all external Vendor items). We do not provide Lowest Price Matching for services and repairs.

The following price situations by competitor retailers do not qualify for Lowest Price Matching considerations: free gift promotions, special offers with financing plans, limited time offers, corporate prices, staff discounts, trade show prices, erroneous pricing, items out of stock at time of enquiry, items advertised to be of limited quantity, clearance items, factory outlet prices, refurbished/used items, mail-in offer prices, prices exclusive to membership programmes.

Proof of Purchase

Upon successful placement of order, an order acknowledgment containing the invoice will be sent to the email address that you've provided in the online order form. We advise you to keep the email or print the invoice out, as these are your receipts and proofs of purchase. You will also receive a hard copy of the invoice upon delivery and will be required to endorse on the invoice after merchandise has been received in good condition.

 

Warranty

Mattresses come with warranties of up to 20 years. Different mattress models have different warranty periods and these warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer. Warranty cards and/or relevant warranty details can be found packed together with the mattress. Mattress manufacturers' warranties differ between manufacturers, but in general, cover internal spring unit from defects such as serious sagging which are not due to normal wear and tear, broken springs and collapsed springs. Please read and follow the instructions on the warranty card (wrapped in plastic cover with mattress) carefully for the warranty to be effective. We advise you to fill up and submit your warranty application immediately after purchase for your warranty to be effective.

Our furniture comes with 6 months warranty on manufacturing defects (not including wear and tear or misuse), unless otherwise stated. If you detect any manufacturing defects or damages which are not due to misuse or wear and tear, take a picture of the problem and send it to cs@beds.sg with a brief explanation of the problem, including the order invoice number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you, and date of purchase. We will contact you and arrange for our service team to assess the situation. In most cases, repairs will be done. If it is deemed beyond repair by the service team, we will exchange the product for a identical one, or similar one of equal or greater price, depending on availability. Beds.sg reserves the right to make the final decision on whether to repair or exchange the product, as well as the replacement product, should an exchange be decided on.

The following items are not covered by warranty: pillows, bolsters, mattress protectors, mini sofa beds, foam mattresses (under the bedding accessories category), and all clearance items.
