The mattress provides adequate back support.

I used to sleep on a mattress (worth around $300), I had frequent backache when I woke up. However, with this new mattress Maxcoil Sleep Haven, I don't suffer from backache anymore. I chose firmness level 4 - Cushion Soft. It's still pretty firm though, so you might want to go with Ultra Plush if you want a softer feel.
