"Ruji" the Indonesian word for 'round' and the Ruji is a hard-backed display rack which gets its title from the signature cylindrical spokes along its sides which are pushed through a series of holes drilled on the ends of each shelf.

This translates into sturdy, firm side walls of wooden rods, which, unlike other cheaper variations, aren't simply glued to each shelf for decorative purposes.

The teak furniture on Beds.sg comes from Java, Indonesia ,where adept Javanese craftsmen skillfully fashion it out of timber from the surrounding lush plantations.

Like our other teak creations, the Ruji is firmly held together with traditional butt joints to retain the old school charm of the furniture. On top of that, the butt joints are further reinforced with epoxy resin and nailed in for extra security.
